Officers of our Post have announced that the Bylaw which states that canteens must close during General Meetings of the VFW does not apply to our Post (3274) since our General Meetings are actually not held in the canteen, but in separate meeting rooms from the Canteen. The two meeting rooms in which General Meetings are being held, thus, are not considered part of the canteen. The rule actually has been interpreted to apply only to those posts which have General Meetings in their Canteen. Therefore our canteen may now be open during General meetings. So, drink up!
